TaskMaster
Above is a video I made in the spring semester of my senior year of college, as part of the CDVL/CISAW’s Event Committee. I filmed and edited the video, and Kennedy Amoré (Agnes Scott ’28) is featured in it.
The above graphics I made in Canva for this post on the Gaming Club, CDVL, and CISAW Instagrams. The 8.5×11″ design was for flyers that were placed around campus.
TaskMaster was a big event I organized as the Gaming Club president and as part of the CDVL/CISAW’s Event Committee. The event was a replication of the hit british tv show Taskmaster, and was a collaboration between CDVL/CISAW and Gaming Club. I was the main organizer of this event, with the assistance of my supervisor Anastasia Owen, Kennedy Amoré (Agnes Scott ’28), and the Gaming Club vice president Sam Soule (Agnes Scott ’26). We organized teams of three who each completed 5 different tasks while webcams running Zoom were filming and Sam and I watched from another room. Each team was assigned its own Task Proctor (“Alex Horne”), which was a DVL tutor in charge of giving Tasks, handling in-person logistics, and answering questions. Once the tasks were completed, all the teams reconvened with Sam and I and we judged how they did on tasks and assigned points. Then the winners received trophies (see in progress photos below) that were 3D printed by CISAW tutors Justice Murphy (Agnes Scott ’28) and Piper Smith (Agnes Scott ’26) as well as a $30 gift card per teammate. There was also a Fan Favorite winner, voted on by the audience, who won a certificate and a $25 gift card.
The winners were (from left to right) Labria Lanbert, Anika Rucks, and Eve Still. The Fan Favorite winner was Finley Turner.
