Hi, I’m Anya Talbot. I’m a senior at Agnes Scott College majoring in business, and I’m someone who’s always been curious about how people think, respond, and connect.
I chose a business major because it’s flexible and practical, and because it gives me tools I can apply across many kinds of work. I like understanding how ideas move and connect through the world: how numbers, stories, and visuals come together to influence decisions.
Marketing feels like a natural fit for me because no two days look the same. I’m energized by problem-solving, adapting to different audiences, and working on projects that change based on people, context, and purpose. I’m especially interested in the psychology behind marketing, what makes something memorable, emotional, or effective, and why.
I chose a liberal arts college because I value learning across disciplines and connecting ideas that don’t usually sit next to each other. That’s also how I approach relationships and work: with curiosity, flexibility, and care. Whether I’m tutoring, nannying, reselling online, or collaborating on a project, I enjoy helping people navigate problems and feel understood.
This portfolio reflects how I think: creative, analytical, and always looking for work that’s meaningful, human, and a little different every day.
