This is a project I made using a Sirena von Boo doll from the Freaky Fusion line of Monster High. I wanted to create an environment for her based on her main components, being the child of a ghost and a mermaid, to match my Bonita project (below). In this piece, I wanted to portray a prison filled with some pieces of trash and undersea treasures, as a representation of fish trapped in unkept fish tanks. While working on this project, I accidentally cracked the bowl, so I incorporated it into the story by putting her hand on it, like she’s trying to break out. The entire process of creating this was completed at CISAW.
